Children in the snow leopard’s distribution areas become to call snow leopard cubs as a spotty friend. As a result, numbers of the children to care the endangered species have been increased in the target region. This time, three series of animation “A Spotty Friend” have been produced and released at initiative and funding of WWF-Mongolia.

WWF-Mongolia published a serial comic “Spotty Friend” for children in 2019. The comic presents the concept to reduce conflicts between snow leopard and human with a boy Uuuganaa, a cub of snow leopard, and Mongolian shepherd’s dog and their adventures and friendship. Since its release in 2019, the serial comic has become children’s favourite. Children in the snow leopard’s distribution areas become to call snow leopard cubs as a spotty friend. As a result, numbers of the children to care the endangered species have been increased in the target region. This time, three series of animation “A Spotty Friend” have been produced and released at initiative and funding of WWF-Mongolia. The series, each lasted for 8 minutes, where over 30 cartoonists and producers jointly worked for a period of over six months.
