WWF-MONGOLIA STRATEGIC PLAN FY21 -25
This Strategic Plan for WWF Mongolia covering the period of 2020-2025 was developed building on over 28 years of presence in the country and knowledge and lessons gained during the implementation of four (five if counting the updates made in 2005) Strategic Plans that started first in 2002.
Complex (AHEC), two WWF Global priority places will continue to be main geographic scope area of this
Strategic Plan for FY21-25. At the same time, broad consultation within the office recommended to
include the Gobi Desert area of Mongolia to build on the momentum created under the current cycle
thanks to the already nationwide initiative “Gobi’s Great Six” and impacts of work on wildlife-friendly
passages for road network.
