BID ANNOUNCEMENT FOR CONTRACTOR ENGLISH TRANSLATOR (3)
WWF-Mongolia is seeking qualified and experienced translators to provide contract-based English-Mongolian translation services within the environmental sector. This is not a full-time position but an outsourced service contract with flexible work arrangements.

WWF-Mongolia is seeking qualified and experienced translators to provide contract-based English-Mongolian translation services within the environmental sector. This is not a full-time position but an outsourced service contract with flexible work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate technical, regulatory, and project-related documents between Mongolian and English.
Provide translation support for meetings, workshops, and presentations on environmental topics.
Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all translations.
Edit and proofread translated documents to meet WWF-Mongolia’s quality standards.
Collaborate with WWF-Mongolia’s conservation team to ensure correct terminology usage.
Required Qualifications:
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mongolian.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional translation experience, preferably in environmental, technical, or regulatory fields.
Specialization: Prior experience translating documents related to environmental regulations, sustainability, or environmental impact assessments is highly desirable.
Education: A degree or certification in translation, linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge: Familiarity with environmental terminology and Mongolia’s legal framework on environmental protection and sustainability.
Availability: Ability to work on-demand, meet deadlines, and adapt to project timelines.
Bid Submission Requirements:

Resume (CV): Detailing relevant experience, qualifications, and availability, including at least three references from previous translation work.
Sample Translations: Two samples of prior translations (preferably related to environmental or technical topics).
Degree/Certification (if applicable): Copies of language certifications or relevant academic qualifications.
Proposed Rate: A clear fee structure (per page or hourly rate), inclusive of taxes and social insurance fees, for both written and simultaneous translation services.
Evaluation Criteria: Bids will be evaluated based on the following factors:
Relevant translation experience in the environmental sector.
Quality and accuracy of provided translation samples.
Proposed rates and overall cost-effectiveness.
