VACANCY RE-ANNOUNCEMENT
The aim of Operation Unit is to mobilize project financial resources, provide efficient, effective financial, administrative and HR services to WWF Mongolia and ensures adherence to Finance and HR good practices of WWF Network Standards, and compliance with all local labour laws and other statutory requirements in Mongolia.
Reports to: Director of Operations and Finance, WWF Mongolia Programme Office
Supervises: Assistant accountant, project accountants from PIU
Location: Ulaanbaatar
Background
The aim of Operation Unit is to mobilize project financial resources, provide efficient, effective financial, administrative and HR services to WWF Mongolia and ensures adherence to Finance and HR good practices of WWF Network Standards, and compliance with all local labour laws and other statutory requirements in Mongolia.
Major Functions:
Responsible for financial statement and donor reports under the supervision of Director of Operations and Finance, through the day-to-day processing of financial transactions, checking financial supporting documents, advances from field offices.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day booking in GL.
Booking and review the advances from ASER field office in relation to approved budgets.
Prepare PIT and social insurance report for the staff, non-staff, reconciling the balance at the end of month.
Provides support to the field office on financial administration matters.
Calculate staff salary in accordance with the Mongolian legislation.
Properly implements the financial procedure, in accordance with FOM.
Perform monthly bank reconciliation, according to checklist.
Maintains and archives the financial documents in good condition.
Performs other tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations and Finance.
Perform aging analysis on payable and receivable accounts.
Prepare donor financial reports and submit.
All bank & cash accounts are reconciled in monthly basis and formally approved/signed off by the Finance Manager and his or her designate.
Perform Trial Balance review checklist, month end closing checklist as well as the TB monthly cleansing.
Perform monthly balance sheet analysis for other balance sheet accounts.
Profile:Required Qualifications
A university degree or commercial diploma in an appropriate subject (business administration and accounting)
Technical proficiency in financial administration, management and accounting
At least 3 years professional experience
Required Skills and Competencies
Ability to work under pressure, initiative and independence, adaptability and flexibility.
Good communication skill and Ability to work in a team
High sense of commitment to the organization and professional ethics of Accountant
Good time management skills
Advanced skills in financial management and accounting systems
Good oral and written communications skills in English

Working Relationships:
Internal:
Interacts with the Administration team of the WWF MPO daily, and with WWF staff as required
External:
Interacts regularly with local banks and local tax and social security authorities.
